Minutes of the meeting of Coleraine Probus Club
Held in Portstewart Golf Club on Tuesday 18 March 2014.

Club President, Gordon Ward, welcomed members to the meeting and then introduced our speaker for the morning, Mr John Moore who outlined the history if the Causeway Tram from its inception to its final demise in 1951. A brief summary of this talk is available in the Speakers’ Record Book, and also on the club web site. A vote of thanks was proposed by Mervyn Patterson and was passed on by the President. The members showed their appreciation.

Minutes of the meeting of Coleraine Probus Club

Club President, Gordon Ward, welcomed members to the meeting and then introduced our speaker for the morning, Miss Bernie McGill who gave an enthralling account of how an author researches and skilfully assembles Historical fact, transforming it into a work of Fiction entitled “The Butterfly Cabinet”. A work which has received excellent critical reviews.

Minutes of the meeting of Coleraine Probus Club

Club President Gordon Ward welcomed members to the meeting and then introduced our speaker for the morning Mr Stewart Tosh. Stewart gave the members an extremely interesting and topical talk about the 'Commonwealth Games', the 20th being held in Glasgow this summer.
