Minutes of the meeting of Coleraine Probus Club
Held in Portstewart Golf Club on Tuesday 13th May 2014

Attendance: 38 members were present

NOTE: This was an informal meeting to discuss rally arrangements, check volunteer tasks, look for additional help and to preview the Rally Booklet

Club President Gordon Ward welcomed members to the meeting and immediately cleared the floor for a discussion on the arrangements for the rally.

Minutes: The minutes of the 6th May 2014 were taken as read.

The All Ireland Rally, 28th and 29th May 2014
President Gordon Ward set the scene for the rally, and invited the rally treasurer Graham Kane to share with the members his costings for the event. John Graham outlined Transport plans, Joe Alcorn discussed the tour. John McHenry said what was hoped for the registration and making up the information packs. More volunteers were wanted to help with the Historic Walk (lots of interest shown by delegates). Reggie Patterson shared the plans for the Reception, that would fit into the help to be given by Bushmills Distillery on the evening. There was a special slide show of the pages that made up the Rally Booklet - the members seemed to be happy and impressed with all the arrangements for the two days.

Next Meeting: Would be another informal (and without minutes) on 20th May, at the Lodge Hotel, to get a 'feel' of the rally venue and think about possible venue 'snags'

Next Club Meeting: Would be on 2nd September at the Golf Club, for the start of the Autumn sessions of the club

The President thanked everyone for attending and hoped everyone would be along at the Lodge
