Minutes: Because of the time limitation it was agreed by the members present that the Minutes of the 13 October 2015 be taken as read.
Matters arising: None not covered by the agenda.
Correspondence: 1. An acknowledgement was received from Barry Torrens and The Disaster Emergency Committee for the Probus donation of £220.00 to the Nepal Disaster Fund
2. A letter from Moira McIvor of Action MS thanking Probus Members for their warm welcome to the meeting on 6 October 2015.
REPORTS:
Social: Joe Alcorn now has the menus for the Probus Lunch on Tuesday 27 October. If possible menu choices should be handed in today or given by telephone to Joe not later than Thursday 22 October 2015.
Welfare: Cecil Spotten has nothing new to report.
Treasurer: Nothing to report.
A O B: Ken Parkes proposed that John McKegney be admitted to membership of Coleraine Probus Club. The proposal was seconded by Norman Maxwell and approved unanimously by the attending members.
Next Speakers Meeting: Will be held on Tuesday 3 November 2015 and the speaker will be Ken McCormack, the subject of his talk being “Curious Tales of the Earl Bishop”.
The Vice-President thanked the members for attending and looked forward to seeing them at the Probus Lunch to be held on Tuesday 27 October – 12 noon for 12.30pm.
